This is an example of model based animation, this is made by making a clay model and taking photos of it in slightly different poisons every time.

Cel animation

This is a example of Cel based animation, Cel based animation is created by drawing a picture then transferring that drawing onto a clear plastic layer and drawing other pictures with a slight movement in every different one then taking photos of them each time.
